need to record some voice in super high quality

need some kind of dat/hard disk recorder and quality directional mic that will give me lots of voice and as little room as possible, room should be quiet but details are a bit vague at this point

can anyone recommend who to speak to? sydney city preffered

A Korg MR-1000 and a shotgun mic? Are you working in a studio or in a noisy location?

probably a hotel room or similar is all i know at this point... something like a 416 maybe?

but yeah a decent portable hard disk recorder with phantom would do the trick
