Hi crew
I'm considering selling my remaining two Midas XL48's - 8 channel mic pre's.
Both are one year old, perfect condition and racked since new. Still under warranty for another 2 years.
Multiple output options on these...sound great and very well made/designed.
Each channel has +48v, phase switch, pad, metering and variable Hi and Lo pass filters. Great stuff!

Will sell for $1500 each or grab both for $2800. (will also include some toslink cables and word clock bnc leads if you buy both).

Overview
Now everyone can benefit from having the world’s best-loved live sound mic preamps at the top of their signal path.
The new MIDAS XL48 packs 8 MIDAS XL4 mic preamps into a 1U box, complete with swept high and low pass filters, 8 MIDAS XL8 A/D converters and a super-low jitter 1ppm clock. Additional features include 8-segment LED input meters, individual phantom power, polarity invert, and -20 dB pad. All inputs are on Neutrik XLR and duplicated on 25-way D-sub connectors as standard.
XL48 features both analogue and digital outputs in ADAT and AES/EBU format. All five outputs can be used simultaneously, making the XL48 a multifunction analogue/digital mic splitter as well as adding the MIDAS touch to 8 channels of your mix. Multiple clocking options are available, including external word clock, internal 96 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 48 kHz, and 44.1 kHz.
Applications include portable recording rigs, analogue and/or digital splits between consoles, or improving the input stage of an ordinary digital console with MIDAS mic preamps, convertors and a reference-grade clock.

Re: FS: 2 x Midas XL48
Thanks Gareth.
Yeah they're pretty sweet for live recording but equally at home in the studio as extra pre's.
Because of their output capabilities they'll attach to most interfaces for more inputs either via AES, Toslink optical or analog and sync the WC. Great way to expand your input count.
Selling this week for $1400 each or $2700 for both...These are like new and have original boxes.
