There were only 3 T8s in Australia that I am aware of...
Andrew Duffields ( Models)
Mine ..which I sold to percussionist Sam ? 1986
And one sold by Harvey Kaufman ( Brashs 1985 )

Cheers

Interesting info John. Played a T8 many, many moons ago in a far away time and place. Not bad, but not something I'd drop that kind of money on personally. What did you thnk of it? (Considering they are from what, 1983? And you sold it in 1986, obviosuly not the be all and end all)

T8 is just a prophet 600 with weighted keys. Ive never played one but I quite like the P600. Its definitely a poor man's Prophet 5 but has its charms nonetheless.

incidentally the P600 has a new upgrade recently developed which has fixed its weakest points and added a great deal of new features, much like recent Europa mods and kiwi 106 etc..

That would be a rudimentary assumption !
But it was way more than that !

If you can be bothered listening to Vol 2 and 3 you will find heaps of the T8 in this.
( the tracks will say whether the T8 is in there)
Have a listen to track 16 and 17 Vol 2
Vol 2 track 10 good organ

Vol 3 track 7 pad

World's changing:

and

http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/mus ... nth-619442

So that's Roland, Waldorf, Dave Smith and Oberheim who've entered Eurorack, to different degrees, plus Moog relaunching their 5U modular systems. I'm sure there'll be more to follow.

Why buy old?
