Just putting the feelers out to see if anyone had one they wanted to sell in the next month or so?
Not too fussed if it has the usb/firewire option installed or not.
Apogee were getting rid of some ex demo units on their site but only shipping to U.S which really sucked because they were going really cheap.
Hit me up if you are thinking of selling!!
Thanks.
Jonny.

Its for a portable rig so trying to keep the size/weight down as much as possible.
The Mini-me is perfect for what i want.
Thanks anyway.

What about an apogee duet 2? That's portable. I bought from Aearth to do a job for $450 and now I am finished with it. Any interest?

Hey Dale,
That was actually going to be my backup option if the Mini-Me didnt work out. The main reason I was leaning towards the mini-me was because it has the inbuilt compressor and the sof-limit and i am planning on doing lots of vocals and didnt want to have to bring anymore than one box.
The Duet 2 does look good though.
How did you find it?

The Duet and Duet 2 has soft limits built in.

Yeah i know they do. I guess i just wanted a bit more dynamic control than just a soft limiting, especially since i will be mostly recording vocals.
I am slowly coming around to the idea of the Duet though.

So are you ready to buy the duet 2 yet or do I do up a proper listing and put some effort into actually selling it?
Cheers
Dale
