Hi, Its been a while since I've posted here, so I hope all is well....
I'm in the process of moving and am going to upgrade the studio so I'm looking for some new converters.
Minium inputs and outputs required is 4, 8 be better.
What I like the sound of is Lynx Aurora, Apogee, and some RME...
What I dislike the sound of is Motu, Digidesign etc etc
Have around 2k
Hit me....
Cheers
PS As I dont have the net ATM it may take me a day or 2 to get back to you, but I will...

How about an Apogee ad16? 16 channels of A/D with smux as well as the AES/EBU card. Dsub input so easy to integrate to patchbays or grab a couple of dsub to xlr or trs to suit your application from me too. Also has selectable soft limit and uv22 dither options as standard. They go for around us$1000 so how about $950?
Used it regularly for jazz, classical and rock recordings piped into my Fireface800 without a hitch.

I'm keeping my one - I still think they are one of the best sounding convertor's - and therefore have no need to upgrade - hopefully for a decade
got a spare (ex BJB one) to sell
