I have a Studer A810 Mastering deck looking for a new home.
It is 4 Speed , 3.7ips, 7.5ips,15ips,30ips.
NAB or IEC eq 1/2 Track heads with overlapping erase. Can be set up for 2 different tape formulations / Flux levels for each speed and equalization, so 510nW on GP9 and 320nW on 468 is easy.
It has had the Audio cage recapped, capstan Braking transistors upgraded(as per Studer instructions), Brakes serviced,Meter lights replaced, you name it. and completely cleaned
All bearings etc in tape path have been either replaced/lubed , new pinch roller so wow/flutter is where it should be...low.
So if you've been thinking about analogue mastering on a real tape machine , not a domestic machine with adaptors, now is the time. Once you've heard it you'll know what the fuss is about.

If interested PM me for pictures etc

manuals are downloadable fromftp://ftp.studer.ch/public in the analogue recorders section

go Jon! You know you want it. Then you just need to grab that AD2044 and AD2055 from me and you'll be laying down the fattest two tracks in town!
