The MPAC-01 utilizes THAT Corporation 1512 Op-amps which are known for their exceptional low noise performance and extremely low THD+N through the full audio bandwidth. It is a clean preamp but the beauty of it is that it has a an EQ Bass roll off and a very high quality VCA Compressor. So you get a high quality transparent pre-amp with 1 EQ feature and an awesome fully featured studio quality compressor. Now thats a lot of value.
