Looking to hire 1" 8 track tape machine (Sydney)

Needing to hire a 1" 8 track tape machine in Sydney for 21,22,23 February.
Something sexy with nice smooth transport, well aligned and in tip top condition etc...

Machine will be used in a studio so will be safe and secure. Fresh tape stock and delivery to studio would be a plus.

Please let me know what you have and we can go from there.

I have a 1" 8 track machine!

It has a clunky transport, is not aligned and is in far from tip-top shape.

And it weighs a ton. Sound-wise it's probably as good as it gets.

If you get stuck you can hire it for free - although you'd probably need a tech on it for 4-5 hours.

id be interested in BUYING it if you are up for selling?
i really want a 16 track 2 inch.. but havnt found what i need
so 8 track 1 inch would be next best.

I have a machine that ticks Ben's Boxes.
JH24 8 track 1", Autolocator,late model (1984) and excellent condition (Even the VU lights all work !!)
The big question is what tape do you want to use and at what speed , EQ , flux level ,etc
and how much tape do you need ?

30 IPS = 16 Min on a 10inch roll of tape

If you want to go nuts,I can do Dolby SR and chase to time code with an Adam-Smith Zeta-III on it as well.
