Hi Everyone

I'm looking to get a Neve console for the right price, doesnt need to be a total bargain. more like the right console for the right price for today.

does anyone have any suggestions?
Been out of the loop for a few years and miss that big console sound

uses are for tracking and mixing
mainly inhouse private work.

Oh and hopefully making some great music!

There was a 32 channel VR in Collingwood for sale a few weeks ago at Red Door studio.

Daffy Williams has VR48 for sale. He's om here sometimes.

depends on what neve era your after... as above the vr's etc are easily available around the $40000 mark...

i guess it depends on your budget & how many channels you would like.

The unwritten rule is to use real names on the forum.
Especially handy when talking about buying and selling expensive consoles.

The Red door site has an ssl 32 channel
did they replace the Neve?

Don't know but Woody wanted around 30K for the VR.

Rick actually turned it into a "written" rule at some point. Exceptions are anyone who has good reason to remain anonymous, and who gets the OK from Rick (via private communication.)

I'll dig around and find the post where that declaration was made.

EDIT - Did some digging but I couldn't find it. Maybe I only imagined it. Oh well.
