Both in excellent condition, fully functional, no marks, scratches, discolouration, etc.
I've used these mainly for electronic live shows, and they've performed flawlessly.
The 1620 is the non "i" model, but has the optional firewire card installed.
Note that Thunderbolt equipped Macs fully support Firewire connections with a cheap adaptor. Can't speak about Windows support.
