FS/FT: Roland Jupiter 4 (TRADED)

Thanks for all that enquired, the JP4 is no longer available as it has been traded.

*Update*

I have added a couple of photos below, and it is now also for sale at $2200 firm, in addition to trade.
For whatever it is worth, the LFO issue has not occurred in the 3 months of use, nor in the last few days of testing it out. I still don't want to say that it is not without issue, just in case.

Hi All,

Just gauging interest in a possible trade for my Roland Jupiter 4. Cosmetically in very good condition. Mechanically, the only things I have noticed is the LFO can sometimes stop functioning and the preset switches need a couple of presses so I would suggest a service. Last service was 2 years ago by a well known repairer.

I am looking for one of the following:

MFB Dominion 1
Sequentix Cirklon with CVIO
Moog Sub 37

Located in Sydney

Cheers

What about a Sub Phatty?
It sounds a lot like a Sub37, but without all those pesky knobs and keys.

Lol thanks but it's not just the knobs, but the sequencer as well. I'm willing to entertain other equivalent options

Okay cool, I thought it was worth a cheeky try.
I was actually on a mad hunt for a JP4 all of last year, and had a WTB ad here.
Had no luck, gave up and spent the cash on other things.
Where were you then! Lol.

I do remember a post asking just that which must've been yours, but at the time there was no way I was giving it up. Even now it's difficult, but my workflow has changed, hence the want for a sequencer.

Yes workflow is top priority.
Though I'd have a tough time letting go of a Jupiter these days too.
Made that mistake selling my JP8 in 1990 for a price that is too embarrassing to say.

yeah the filter on the JP4 is to die for... I can just switch the arp on and randomly hit a few keys and there goes an hour :)

Not really good manners to jump into someone else's "for sale" thread with your own item.

Point taken. And apologies for a rookie mistake. At the time i posted the other synth looked to have been sold or moved on, and my intention was just to bring others interested in the same synth who maybe missed out on that one to be aware of my sale.

Once again, apologies for posting that in the thread.
A big fan of these forums.
