Well Rob I would but I just don't have that sort of coin right now. I figure I might be able to get some strips, put them away until I can get them done.
And besides, I'll always be hunting for channels....ha!

rob dont you get it..?
matt is going to buy the channels cheap , sit on em a while.. wait till you set the new standard for racked mci modules ,
then he is going to
relist them here and make enough money of the poor unsuspecting rubes that he can pay off his house
with just two modules , and maybe rack up the other two with the left over profits .

now if they were not white.... his evil scheme would probably work !

err this is my outside voice talking again isnt it ?

JLM do a fine LO2567 clone. It fits in the case and has the same ratios. Sonically it is slightly different, I'd dare say better. So this could be an option, if two flavours work in your pair. But if you need 'em exactly matched....start looking around

you should also consider spending the extra bucks get the full 1073 front end kit added at $220 per channel. This then gives you the extra steps of gain and makes the 1272 a true Neve 1073 Style preamp.

and without raining on yer mates parade re selling those MCI channels, having just finished another five pairs and thus focused my attention on the exact cost of racking these, you'd be no worse off just buying the ready to rock racked pairs i've got for sale.

You know how good these things are Kerry! And everyone i put them in front of want them and those with the bucks buy them!

Wish I had the bucks right now Rob, I'd be in, but just not possible for a while, though if there are any floating about in 6 months I'll be keen.
