I'm looking for a low-profile panel-mount 6.35mm jack to replace one in my Boss DD2 which has self-destructed. An easy fix - but finding these jacks is not so easy! Space is tight so the enclosure has to be quite narrow - approx 13mm. The off-the-shelf ones I have won't fit.
I've tried SeeedStudio - no go, Wagner - no go, RS - want to charge 11 bucks and ship from the US, a mob called Mojotone have just the right gear but its $30 US just for the postage!!
Any suggestions for audio hardware suppliers? Australian would be preferred to keep the shipping down...

try Mouser Electronics (its US but they are good and cheap and ship fast) - quality products though..

alternatively you could try Rob Fyfe at Fyfe Audio in Gosford.
he is a tech and repair guru on the Central Coast.
used to build all my custom power supplies for my guitar racks..
he should have something..

If you dont use in stereo mode you could swap out the jack from the output you dont use.
