Anyone know of any other companies that do stuff like this?

There's a whole bunch of products there. Are you referring to one in particular?

i guess just an educational query here...like the frames, as well as fader packs, and other parts needed to build mixers....

i should add, i bought 12 neve line amps and Relays off rick a few yrs back, and havent done much with them...was interested to see what else would need to be purchased to put a mixer together...(which im obviously not going to do myself). Summing amp, faders, (frame/as seen in the link above, etc)

general internet concensus is to just buy a mixer, and mod it to what you want....

I have an MCI 636 frame in pieces sitting in the corner of my garage. When assembled it is pretty huge! It is yours if you want it... you are going to need a van/ute as the metal work is 2m long. You can also take the wiring looms for it if you want, they are about 2 meters long and include 5 or 6 TT patchbays...

ooo MCI 600 series ... you don't have any channel strips hanging around? I'm trying to chase down just the mic gain pot. It is a seriously unusual pot and can't be substituted or fudged at all.

Hey Rob!

Sorry mate, I only have the channels that are in the desk. For some reason the chap I purchased them off had one set of channel strips, any two 636 frames!
