Anyone done/doing this project?

I'm just about finished mine. Everything's in the box, just got to check voltages etc etc, put the op-amps in and fire it up (in an ideal world).

I've got heaps of documents like an aus parts list with pricing and all the component values that I put together myself if anyone wants it. Just shoot me an email: nick at thewaitups dot com.

I'll post back with photos of the completed unit in the next couple of weeks.

Rock on DIYers,

Nick.

Build one, nah they're cheap enough to buy. I've got some W491a and b's though and a W495stb, great eq's.

What gain increments did you use?

Hope it powers up and works, would be interesting to see how it sounds.

Noway I could build one as good as the Germans.

Mine has continuously variable gain (used conductive plastic pots). I'll try to get some audio clips up when I've got it in the studio.

If you can solder a little bit this isn't a bad first project. In total (including case) It ran me a little over $200 aus. It would probably be more for anyone else but I have a friend who gets me cost price at a certain electronics supplier.
