Hi,
I'm thinking of doing a DIY project and am looking for a specific type of meter, I need to be able to read from about -20v to +20v. Specifically looking for an analog one.
I found one here but it looks like a bulk order for suppliers, so where on earth would I be able to get one?!?

Richard... I saw this meter at the Williamsburg markets last weekend. Very eye catching don't you think? In fact there were a bunch of old meters. Temping to grab a few but too heavy and too silly to consider lugging them home.... and for what reason?
You could always contact the company and see if they'll do a one off order for you, they may point you in the right direction for buying just one meter (or they may ignore your email).
Have you looked on the Digikey site?
Also, you could try the Prodigy forum if your signed up. http://www.prodigy-pro.com/diy/index.php?board=2.0 I don't mind posting on your behalf if your not. Pm me your spiel and I'll post it.
cheers

Cheers Ben,
Looks like after a few hours laboriously trawling the deep dark corners of the net, I have found a source. The 15v one is perfect for what I want.

Damn, I never would have guessed that they would be that hard to find. After all that searching I think I'll be seeing meters when I go to sleep tonight
