i didn t know where to post this so i just put it here.

and there isnt really a website unless you go to the artists pages.

but i just wanted to comment on some of the gigs coming up at the hunter vineyards

Diana Krall w/Madeleine Peyroux and Katie Noonan

James Taylor and Carol King

The B52s this month

there are a few more, cant remember offhand who thjey are but its looking good for me n the family.

Anyone know how one would get onboard to lineup work at one of these gigs soundwise?

Call your local crewing company and you can push heavy boxes and get shouted at for $20 an hour. (less if you're new!)

oh man, im trying to get out of the labour side of things, and even though i know its a fact that when you change jobs/careers you have to start again at the bottom i just threw a part time sound/lighting gig away because i coudlnt handle the low pay. call me foolish but i'd rathe do three bed and points a week, maybe 12-15 hours max for over 1800 bucks than go back to sweating and cursing and being treated like a farken apprentice for sub 1k for 40hrs+.

I knowa lot of people who read that will say that i'm never going anywhere then but i do appreciate learning curves and i know that in this game you cant just walk into a good paying studio job unless you are sucking the right dicks or have superb references from other heads in the game.

that said i keep harassing and persisting and annoying. it will get me there soon.
