Hi all,
for those interested, check out this short walk-through video of the studio at Wollongong...
In September last year the SSL E series console that used to live in the ABC studios was installed here with Greg Cameron helping out...

Nice rooms. Couldn't help noticing the Palindrometerâ„¢ in a few shots! ;)

JM - Great acoustician/master of psychology and how the brain reacts to audio/amazing understanding of working methods/comfort/ sight lines and a total gentleman!
GC - Top Tech.
SSLE - very nice console.
Whats the ceiling height in the main tracking room? - This is where it will sink or swim as far as great versatile drum/live sounds.
I hope its over 4-6m high - then your sitting pretty - you can do anything! (Under 4 metres high and..... I'd better not say anything)
Good luck Adam - huge effort and a great team behind you!

Very nice whirlwind tour - the flashing meters on the desk was a nice touch to the action. (*)

The main tracking room and 2 booths are all 4.2 metres with a suspended false ceiling at angles Jack planned.
The control room is also 4.2 metres, but the false ceiling design angle is different to the tracking rooms...

Yea the Palindrometer always gets some looks from bands... :-?

The studio has built a good reputation in Wollongong over the years, now its a matter of letting the bands here know just what we have here now...
