Dave had been around a long time. He was an article writer/contributor for "Recording Magazine". He has produced many mini series. I have one which is a 4 part series called the Playback Platiunum series. Each Book consists of 10 essential lectures on a hard bound spiral book with accompanying CD. THe 4 part series talks about the principles of Audio Production. Lots of info. Ocasionaly I refer back to them when I see them sitting on my shelf. I often think they would be a great resource if you ever wanted to teach Audioin a classroom setting.
You still see them every now and then on ebay. First produced in 1999.
