I have been following this journey since it started and thought a few here might be interested. Here is the basics in short: During the 1850's 7 Cornish fishermen sailed from Cornwell to Melbourne in a 37 ft Cornish Lugger. This was decades before the famous small sailing boat sailing adventures of Joshua Slocum. This journey has been recreated in their honor by a Britt adventurer Pete Goss on a replica of the original Lugger. They will arrive in Melbourne in about two weeks having 900 nautical miles to go. Here is a Link to the web page and blog of the journey.

On the site is a Google tracker of the journey so far.
