I dunno how a 'burger' style turntable could be 'decent'.. but I'm sure it's cool for someone on the 'go'

I prefer the Numark portable or Vestax handytraks for my 'on the go' record playing etc.. (Line out + headphone out + built in speaker and pitch control + newer ones have USB) I was going to take one to the markets back in my day of vinyl trawling, but sellers eyes generally start making dollar signs when you get out a portable record player.. lol.

Still, having a smaller turntable ready for some quick and dirty sampling is a great thing to have. When you are sampling into a S950 or Prophet2002, the filthier the sample to begin with, is generally the better from my experience.. hell, my best samples were from a 70's portable briefcase style turntable.

Regards
Mike

i find myself buying things i've never heard before, and im sick of going off my memory for labels that are good or bad.

i've got alot of sitting duck records at home...bad releases from good labels. ffs!
