The Sonnox Fraunhofer Pro-Codec seems interesting.

What do people think of this products use-fullness?
I still haven't found an MP3 encoder that I'm happy with. What does everyone use?

Looks interesting, be extremely good for mastering.

I either use apples AAC in itunes which does a damn good job, or if it's mpfree, I use LAME, which has been the benchmark for as long as I can remember.

I use LAME. There are a bunch of front ends and guis for it if you're not a command line wiz.

I use dbpoweramp reference as a front end for all my format conversion needs.
