that is so sad - I couldn't watch it all - my father died in one of those places after he had a stroke. I still hate myself for letting him go there.

Music is a wonderful thing.

Great link.

All of Oliver Sack's books make fascinating reading. He has one specifically about music and the brain - Musicophilia - and of course Awakenings was made into the movie with De Niro and Robin Williams.

My favourite however remains The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat - it really makes you reevaluate everything you know about creativity and the mind.
