Fender Chroma Polaris
Anyone know where to source the membrane switches for these things? I picked one up cheap because of the cracked membranes (similar to ribbon cable... sort of) but I have no idea where to start looking to get them replaced. I'm fairly well versed in electronics and should be capable of fixing it myself if I can just find where to get these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a friend who has a brand new mylar front panel for the Polaris, I can ask if he is willing to sell it if you like. Basically you would need to peel the whole top plastic panel off after unplugging the connectors, clean off the adhesive and apply the new sheet. Pretty much the same as a Moog Source.

Wow, that's handy to know. Unfortunately, all I need is the two membranes that run from the switches to the PCBs. The fromt panel of the synth is in pretty good condition except for a missing/broken slider.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Upon closer inspection, it would appear that you are correct! If you could ask your guy if he's willing to sell it, that would be great... as long as he's not a profiteering-type who's going to ask a shit-tip for it
