Thanks for the link Ian... very interesting.
$500 per album... could that be somebody hitting the zero key twice by mistake?
I was surprised when I saw they'd reissued Steely Dan's Aja album on vinyl for $69.
I'll have to dig out that old copy master of one of Elvis's albums I've got somewhere!
So vinyl has made a resurgence and now tape is on it's way back... just when I was getting over throwing out all my turntables now I'm going feel bad about dumping the reel to reels.
So what's next? Reissues on cassette... Maybe the wire recorder will make a come back... and let's not forget the video market... maybe I should dig out that old betamax machine.

Great Site and interesting "club" I've done work on Revox and Studer Machines for a subscriber to the Tape Project and emailed back and forth with "Doc".
