audiophile DAC for monitoring?

ive been looking into a high quality DAC for my monitoring, the likes of a mytek, benchmark dac etc....

in my travels i came across an interesting little converter in the wyred 4 sound DAC 2. Its a DAC targeted at the audiophile market but i was looking into the possibility of using it in studio. It has all the inputs/outputs i need and then some and some research has suggested it is almost (although not quite) comparable to the Weiss DAC 1 and also blows the benchmark away by audiophile standards. I know that audiophile and professional use measuring standards differ but would it be a terrible idea to use it for studio monitoring? Or Could it another converter that bridges the gap between audiophile and professional worlds and its just that no one has tried it? Ive read nothing but good things and it is well priced.

The answer is in your opening paragraph.

Just buy Georg's Mytek... it is staggering that it hasn't sold, the price is a bargain.

Yes - that Mytek is the way to go - all of their stuff sounds really good.
