Something like a Sowter 4652 or Jensen JT-11SP-6M

Anyone got a pair in their spare parts bin they're willin' to part with?

have you looked at the OEP (oxford electrical products) range (through rs components?)? i've used their 1+1:2+2 and 1+1:6.45+6.45

(i see you are saying 1:1:1:1 - i don't know if there's a difference b/w that and 1+1:1+1)

chris.

Hi MDFU Chris

The OEP A262A6E/C would indeed do fine. I might indeed need buy some from RS as a few people here have looked but to no avail.

Its for a passive line level MS decoder.

so 1+1:1+1 is correct, for your needs? bewdy.

mmm m/s decorders.

actually, i spent sunday building a passive transformer test box, along the lines of the line-level trannie cases in last issue of AT. except it's 4 channels, using an old 1RU case and with all connectors on the front for easy patching.

gives me a chance to work through all these lovely old trannies lurking in my closet. . .

yeah yeah i know.

i'll grab some shots tomorrow. got an overdub session, so will give me a chance to chuck some signal through it and see how the trannies taste. i'm most interested in testing the trannies i got from Rick to use in my LA2A clones, initially.

Gee I wish I was DIY as much as you guys..
Was going to do a Gyraf SSL bus comp a few years back but never got around to it..
I was too busy playing guitar and writing..
Now that I have a small home project studio, maybe I should look at some DIY gear - might save a few pennies that I can put towards other gear!!
