I just saw this on ebay and thought someone is going to get a lovely desk.
I have heard and read a lot of good things about this desk and wish I had the money for it.
Please note the desk is not mine, I do not know the bloke but it must be a hard decision to sell it after only having it for a short time.
Best of luck to him.

(who only owns consoles over 2.5 m !)
Bugger, the amek recall didn't even qualify as a real desk let alone its replacement.....oh well one day.
So, being another gear slut, what suber big desk do you play with?

I was planing on buying the 32 channel version of these in the next few months, though still weighing up a few other options . I haven't seen the 24 channel but the 32 didn't strike me as particularly cramped and I was surprised how good looking it was! Real swish actually not that counts for anything.

Having a private (non income producing) studio means that for the foreseeable future, the chances of replacing my 24 chnl S/craft Spirit Studio are eclipsed by the possibility of finding some genuine vintage, tube enhanced, rocking horse shit.....................that said, in certain circumstances, I would risk a divorce to replace it with an ATB-32 w/- the promised meter bridge.
Older consoles are fine BUT they frequently come with age induced issues that can be a continual frustration and costly to eliminate, obviously, for some, being able to claim ownership of vintage or esoteric gear is more of an ego wank than it is for others, a fact that is patently obvious when browsing various forums.

This is interesting. They guy has owned it for three weeks and is selling it?
I noticed that in the QA section he purchased it via flexi-rent. This means that theoretically at least, he doesn't own it (flexirent does). They will expect to get it back after the lease period is up (not to mention that he would still be required to make payments on it for the next three years).
Alarm bells would be ringing if I were looking to purchase it. I wonder if it's the same deal on the other items he's selling (distressor, RNP's, Firefaces etc).

Hi there,
I think he is legit about selling it...found this from him on GS.
[quote]I received my ATB 24 a few weeks back, but have to say that although I was originally happy with the EQ's, I'm starting to feel like the lows are quite cloudy and smeared on the desk.
I've actually gone back to mixing ITB to get the clarity back.
I mix electronic music, and am starting to kind of regret my purchase..
Have you heard of anyone else coming across this problem?
Cheers,
Jonny
