Hello everyone,

This sure is a great forum - I've learned a bunch of stuff already from just reading through all the old threads.

I'm Alex, I'm currently in Adelaide, originally from Sydney. I studied a Bachelor of Music at Newcastle Uni (Piano major), and my love is composition. I have a very unhealthy obsession with Film Scores.

My spare time is locked away in my humble recording space, creating sounds.

I look forward to chatting with you all.

Hey welcome Alex.
Film scores..... well if you land the big one ........that would be great. Given my instrumentals to a few publishers myself and had a few bites and landed a few small (doco) fish........still going for the big catch.
....By the way Rick Caught any of those big mulloway lately?

hi alex glad to have you onboard

there has been a distinct mulloway drought on my boat this year , i have had one in and one dropped at the boat as it was hooked literally below the boat in 4 feet of water while i was fishing for live bait , it spat out the bait and through it at me ..
they are not supposed to jump clear out the water like a barramundi , if i hadnt seen it i would have believed it .

that ends the dismal fishing report for this quarter

Since I can't find an 'introduce yourself' thread I'll just hijack this one...sorry Alex!

Evenin' everyone. I'm Guido (pronounced /ghee-do/) and I live in the Melburnian Inner West. I've been trying to write a whole song for years and am determined to glue my two dozen musical stumps into something coherent. I tend to lurk on forums instead of making sounds, but this time it's gonna be different!

I've got a pair of monitors on the way and I'll finally have everything I need to make decent-sounding music (apart from skills and talent) but where there's a will, there's always beers and sunshine. I'll be bothering you all soon with some on advice on monitor setup and other tidbits.

Cheers,

Guido

Cheers, Angus! :)

I didn't think I'd find much by googling 'RA book' but it turns out that's really that it's called, as long as ou really are referring this one: http://www.ra-thebook.com/
