Birds of Tokyo: Need a lift?

Birds of Tokyo are in Darwin for Bass in the grass. My mate is the sales manager at the hotel they are staying at. His car was in for a service or something and his mum had to drop the car off to him. My mum drove her own car to pickup my friends mum after dropping off the car etc.

Anyway, Adam the drummer from BOT came out and asked if there was a taxi available which could take him to the city straight away. There wasn't so my friends mum said, "we'll take you".

He didn't want to impose, but they insisted and he was pretty blown away. He said he's travelled the world and never been offered a free lift!

It's funny when you're mum says, "I gave a lift to the drummer from birds of tokyo".

Kinda surreal. haha.
