Hi all
Wanting to rack up some SSL 5000 series modules and wondering were is best to find a 4u rack case. 3u seems the largest I can find.

If you are after a road-type case, AND don't plan to move it around too much, I have a 6RU that I'd be willing to move super cheap.. It's a heavy (literally) duty Nova Forge case which I bought on the 'bay hoping to use for portable recording, but its just way too heavy to be moving around. I realise its a bit bigger than you're after but thought I'd throw it out there. I'm on the westy side of Melbourne if you're interested.

You mean 4ru enclosures ja? Not road case?

A reckon you are wanting a rack mount case. Elgee in Vic make them. Be warned though, the front panel is just a flat sheet that screws to the sides. Mount too much weight on it and it will bow out under the stresses of handling. I have a fix for this that requires drilling and tapping some extra holes to make the front panel more robust.
