Hey guys,
I'm thinking about building a little FX mic out of a small speaker cone. I wired it up to an XLR, plugged it in and had a go through it and it sounded wonderfully lo-fi. I just want an empty, awesome looking, inspiring mic body to put it in. Something that looks retro.
The speaker is 5cm x 9cm x 4cm, so I guess it would need to be some sort of old ribbon body?
Ideas?
Cheers,
Ant

get a cheap old crystal mic of ebay us. there always seem to be a bunch and they look like 'pill' mics.
