I remember seeing an announcement in Mix when the place opened... or was it in the annual studio design feature? I thought, "In Poland of all places" and then "Why not?" Some of those Eastern European orchestras are cheap compared to those of Western Europe (Naxos label, anyone?) and, while the startup costs of such a facility might be high, the running costs might just work out, especially if you can attract work from elsewhere in Europe.
