Regarding the BCM10, I'd really just like an empty frame and the rest can take some time
But if the price is right, who knows

-Ideally fully recapped / refurbished

Yes I saw that. I bet it's amazing and the price is high, but much friendlier than the BCM 10s can get
however, as awesome as I bet it is it's not a Neve, and I am running a commercial studio so I feel paying a premium for that little N word is perhaps not unjustified

besides that silly excuse, I just want one and it's that simple
I recently sold a reissue LA2A to fund a pair of vintage Teletronix LA2As
Just put cash down in a set of 10 Vintage API 312 preamps (which I was just about to put towards a 3124)
I have a major soft spot for the 'real deal', and by that I mean how special it is that say a microphone had to travel 50 years to end up in my hands, and I can hear who it has become. that's a beautiful thing to me, and honestly a big part of why I'm here at all
