Wiz (and anyone else who buys a BAR-2 from Norm) , I have a scanned PDF copy of the BAR-1 manual .They are almost identical,minor cosmetic differences and very minor circuit tweaks.
PM me with an email address and I'll send a copy.
Like so many AWA manuals these things are like rocking horse poop.I scour old Transmitter sites looking for elusive manuals in bottom drawers and dusty boxes as you find virtually none on the interweb.
These are a great mic pre. Germanium transistors and big transformers. (Yes I have one in the shed) An antipodean version of an RCA of the early 60s
