WANTED TO RENT: Studio/storage space (Melbourne)

I'm in need of some storage space for the next few months, and I was wondering if any studio guys here have a small unloved area that they might like to rent out for beer money.

I've been looking at small office spaces etc, but they're all too big (ie expensive) for my needs... I really only need 10-15 square meters, enough room for a couple of tape machines, a small console, and some keyboards in cases basically. If there was enough room to be able to do some guitar practice or set up a keyboard then even better.

The going rate for slightly divey suburban office space seems to be around $150 p/w for 20-25 sq.m. I'm hoping to find an oversized broom closet for closer to $50 p/w... $100 would be the absolute max.

Anywhere between the inner city and the north-eastern burbs would be great, but I'll take what I can get.

Ha! Nice one. Nothing too fancy. The coolest thing I've got is the Mk1 Rhodes, but I think that can live in the lounge room for a little while ;-)

Although, it has got me thinking... anyone want to rent a Rhodes for a few months in exchange for space? Is that a crazy idea? Not really what I had in mind, but I guess it's possible. Of course I've got other stuff that is going in to storage that might be of use to someone... bearing in mind that it's only a temporary thing. I'm thinking 6-9 months, or however long my studio build takes.

Just checked Stage Systems, they charge $577 a week to rent out a Stage 73! Although that probably includes a $200 surcharge to lift the (*&$#%^

which part of town are you looking at Wez? I might know of a place or 2.

Anywhere between Greensborough, Eltham, Bundoora, Macleod area, and the inner north - Carlton, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Northcote etc - would be ideal.

the closest I know to there would be Kensington. If that suits, I'll PM you some details. I think you could get a nice corner in a bigger space for about $70.
