Hey Dave, No i have a fine collection of G5's all working, I've entered a grey zone, there's some plugs that are intel only so i'm working between a G5 and intel laptop. Trying to streamline workflow to one machine, i've upgraded from a 2004 G5 to a 2006 Mac Pro... But now need to find a 9 or 10HD upgrade or license. Almost went to Reaper completely except a deal on a Mac Pro and HD cards presented itself. (thanks Gigpiglet)

I've been keeping an eye out for the same upgrade as this (8HD to 10HD) for a while and thought i'd call a reseller to get a retail price on it... I was just told they won't sell it anymore unless buying new hardware... told bottom line is it's not for sale, as an upgrade or full price program. Strange days indeed.
I'm thinking that can't be right... Anyone know better?
EDIT, ignore that, the pro tools website still has it.. i'm thinking the reseller must be confused unless this is new info.
